weather, pumpkins, school, and seriously??!?!

It's that time that the weather is getting cooler...THANK GOD.  I turned off my AC last night and had the windows open, ahhhh it was beautiful!

We carved (and when I say we, I mean everyone except Bekah, Sietsema, David and myself---because pumpkins are GROSS!) pumpkins last night at dinner club.  I'm glad Court was there...I miss her.

School is insane.  I don't know how else to describe it...It's been hellacious since week 1, and I keep telling myself that I'll have a break, but I won't.  Sooooo bring on CHRISTMAS!

Seriously?  Seriously!  My dad is going to be here on Saturday...that's about all I have to say about that.  But I just got this ridiculous email...note: if you're crazy, don't ask for another chance.

Other than that: all is well!

Peace

Josh T!

So I was in Lahutsky's class today.  We've been talking alot about Constantine.  He was a pretty cool dude, but was totally FULL of himself.

So I knew that today was the day, we were going to talk about it.  I knew it was coming.  It was going to be a rough day for me.

But as soon as I walked into the class, Lahutsky was writing on the board.  It was coming...there was no denying it.

CONSTANTINOPLE

And all hope was lost.  All I could think about was Conference and Josh T up there dancing and singing...

Istanbul was Constantinople.
Now it's Istanbul not Constantinople.
If you got a date in Constantinople, she'll be waiting in Istanbul.

Oh yeah, it was pretty intense.

It was hilarious.  It took everything inside of me to not sing outloud and laugh...

So Josh T, thanks for bettering my education.

And by 20 you mean...

amazing.

That's about the only way I know how to sum up my birthday weekend...here I'll give you a recap:

Friday night = fun night with Eric and John (no, not the EX's...).  Listening to random music, watching Super Troopers, taking fun pictures and videos, and eating crazy amounts of cheddar popcorn til insane hours of the next morning.  Total hours of sleep = 4

Saturday = wake up at 7 to run errands and pick up a youth from UCC to take to Hurst.  Organizational Communication group project work for an hour or so.  Getting ready for the big celebration...hanging out with Stealth for a few hours watching our show, going to Ol South with the crew (Kels, Stealth, Larry, J Flo, Lew, and Eric) then off to Rocky Horror for a crazy good time.  But the best part was...my tiara wearing skills!  Total hours of sleep = 2

Sunday = aka the greatest day EVER.  The church-ness at HCC (I did some amazing benedicting...)  Going to here my favs play at Ridglea and getting to see the RCC crew.  Off to do the family-ness...went to go see Live Free or Die Hard (AHHHHHHHMAZING!) then off to Curly's for some bat cavin, then to the Mellow Mushroom for delicious pizza!  Afterwards hung out with the "band" to see their show at Bronx Zoo!  Yay for Yankee Doodle!  Then off to sing insane karaoke with the boys and some friends.  Total hours of sleep = 4

What an amazing birthday.  Definitely made up for being out of town for the last 2.  I've got the greatest friends ever...old ones, new ones...man, they're awesome.  July has definitely started off a whole heck of alot better than June!

I'm exhausted...if you calculated correctly you can see that I got 10 hours of sleep for the ENTIRE weekend.  But don't worry, it was well worth it.  And very mature for my last week of classes...2 presentations, 1 speech, and 2 finals.

Hey, they don't call it college for nothing!

yay!

Peace
